Welcome to the MidAmerica Baptist Conference

Welcome to the official website of the Midwest Baptist Conference, one of thirteen regional districts of the Baptist General Conference in the United States. The district covers all of Illinois and Indiana, the Kenosha area of Wisconsin, St. Louis and east-central Missouri, and, our newest areas, Louisville, Kentucky and Nashville, Tennessee (which caused us to change from "Midwest" to "MidAmerica").

Whether you are affiliated with an MBC church, looking for a church home, or simply surfing the web, we hope this site will become a valuable resource for you.

Our vision is simple: that Christ will use the MBC as a vehicle for "Planting and Growing Healthy Churches."

The MidAmerica Baptist Conference has its roots in the founding of the Baptist General Conference, in the midwest, among Swedish immigrants in the mid-1800's. BGC churches remain commited to the strong biblical beliefs of those early Swedish immigrants, now shared by an ethnic diversity as rich as the communities in which our churches are found.

District Executive Minister
